Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ScholarSprint (“Service”), operated by ScholarSprint (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of service

ScholarSprint is a web-based application that helps international students track university application deadlines, manage document checklists, and receive email reminders. We offer a Free plan and a Pro subscription plan with additional features.

2. Eligibility

To use ScholarSprint you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction

If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service.

3. Account registration

When you sign up for ScholarSprint, you provide your name, email address, and university application information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your dashboard access link and for all activity that occurs through your account. Notify us immediately at hello@scholarsprint.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Free and Pro plans

ScholarSprint offers two tiers of service:

• Free plan: Track up to 3 university applications, basic document checklist, and email reminders. Available at no cost indefinitely.
• Pro plan: Unlimited applications, access to the 50+ university requirements database, priority reminders, and additional features. Billed monthly at $7/mo or annually at $59/yr.

We reserve the right to modify plan features and pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

5. Payment and billing

For Pro subscriptions:

• Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store your payment information.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your payment provider account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
• All prices are in USD. Currency conversion fees may apply depending on your payment method and location.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ScholarSprint to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or other users’ accounts
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission

7. Intellectual property

All content, features, and functionality of ScholarSprint — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, the university requirements database, and software — are owned by ScholarSprint and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

You retain ownership of all data you enter into ScholarSprint, including your university applications, deadlines, and document checklists. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process this data solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

ScholarSprint is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not guarantee that any university application submitted using ScholarSprint will be successful. ScholarSprint is an organisational tool only and does not provide academic, legal, or immigration advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScholarSprint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, missed application deadlines, or loss of university admission opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we determine to be harmful to other users or the Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@scholarsprint.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and we will delete your data within 30 days.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
